What changes the final price?

What to collect before comparing quotes
Record the system type, approximate age, model number, fuel type, recent repair history, comfort issues, and whether the ductwork has been inspected. Ask each contractor to show assumptions, capacity selection, labor, permits, additional work, and warranty coverage as separate line items.
